APPLE
SNOW RECIPE
This is a delicious dessert.
The Apple Snow has a wonderful taste and looks great. The
Apple Snow is a very easy recipe that even children can make
with the parents help. Its a dessert that will go with any
sort of meal. We have a family meal on a Sunday and I like
to make the Apple Snow with it. So try this recipe you won't
be dissappointed.
Apple
Snow Ingredients
4 cooking apples
4 Tbs sugar
300mls water
2 egg whites
2 cloves
cochineal or red colouring
2 small pieces lemon rind

Snow Method
Take the
apples and peel and core them then cut them into quarters.
In a saucepan place the apples with the sugar, cloves, lemon
rind and water and gently simmer until tender. Put this mixture
into a mixing bowl and beat it to a pulp and then set it aside
to cool. Take the egg whites and beat them to a stiff froth
and whisk them into the cold apple pulp. Take half this puree
and place in another bowl and colour it a pale pink with the
red colouring. Put a spoonful of the white mixture and then
a spoonful of the pink mixture alternating the mixtures on
a serving dish then chill it. Serve the Apple Snow with cream.
