BACON
AND EGG PIES RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Bacon and Egg Pies. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. I usually get my grandchildren over
when I am making these pies as they love helping me cook them.
There is nothing better than having a day with your wonderful
grandchildren and this way they learn to cook at the same
time. Oh and they really like eating what they cook to. This
is a great easy recipe to teach them and the pies taste sensational.
Bacon
and Egg Pies Ingredients
2 eggs
3 oz cheese grated
3 tomatoes skinned
1/4 tsp dry mustard
8 oz short crust pastry
6 oz can evaporated milk
3 oz bacon rashers chopped
Bacon
and Egg Pies Method
First thing to do is preheat
the oven to 375 degrees. Roll out the pastry to 1/8 inch thickness
and cut out 6 rounds to fit 6 saucers then trim the edges.
Beat eggs and bacon together then chop tomatoes roughly and
add to the egg and bacon then add cheese, mustard and milk.
Pour into the prepared cases and bake the Bacon and Egg Pies
in the centre of the oven for 30 minutes.
