BEEF
KWANGTON RECIPE
I would like you to sit down
and enjoy a wonderful asian style meal. Just have a go at
making Beef Kwangton it is one of the best asian recipes I
have. I usually cook the Beef Kwangton and serve it in the
middle of a plate of jasmine rice which adds a wonderful flavour
to it. I'm sure your family when they taste it will think
you got the Beef Kwangton from the restaurant.
Beef Kwangton
Ingredients
1/4 tsp sugar
3 oz snow peas
1/2 tsp soy sauce
2 Tbs oyster sauce
1/4 tsp seasame oil
1 1/2 Tbs peanut oil
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 lb beef cut in thin strips
4 oz bamboo shoots sliced
4 oz button mushrooms sliced
1 slice fresh ginger root 1/2" thick
1/2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1/2 tsp water
Beef Kwangton
Method
Put the
oil into your wok and heat it and then add the ginger and
stir to add flavour to the oil. Discard the ginger and add
the beef slices and stir fry for about 2 minutes. After you
do this add the bamboo shoots, mushrooms, snow peas and chicken
broth and then cover and cook the Beef Kwangton for 2 minutes.
Stir in the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar.
Thicken the Beef Kwangton with the cornstarch blend and serve
the Beef Kwangton immediately with rice.
