CARROTS
WRAPPED IN SPINACH RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Carrots Wrapped in Spinach. It
is a quick and easy recipe to make. Well this is a very different
way of doing carrots and spinach. It is a very colourful but
interesting recipe and you can make it in advance then bake
it just before your family or visitors arrive. It is absolutely
delicious served with a fresh herb sauce. This is a great
small appetizer to cook and serve when you are going to have
a party it is so different from other appetizers and even
the children enjoy it.
Carrots
Wrapped in Spinach Ingredients
30g butter
2 egg yolks
spinach leaves
6 carrots sliced
freshly ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Steam the carrots until tender then allow them to cool. Put
them into a blender with the butter and egg yolks then blend
until smooth and season to taste with black pepper. Lightly
grease 6 individual ramekins. Blanch the spinach leaves and
use them to line the ramekins leaving some of the leaf to
hang over the side. Spoon some of the carrot mixture into
each ramekin and then fold the spinach leaves over the top
to cover. Bake the Carrots Wrapped in Spinach for 25 minutes
or until set then turn out on to small plates and serve with
a fresh herb sauce.

SALMON
AND CRAB AVOCADO RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Salmon and Crab Avocado.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This
is a fantastic way of doing avocado the flavour of the avocado,
crab, salmon, cream, mayonnaise, tomato sauce, tabasco sauce
and lemon juice all mixed together and put into the avocado
quarters makes this Salmon and Crab Avocado just so delicious.
I like to make these up as appetizers when my husband and
I get together with two of our special friends.
Salmon and Crab Avocado Ingredients
1 large avocado
2 Tbs lemon juice
Salmon and Crab Filling:
3 Tbs cream
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp mayonnaise
1 Tbs tomato sauce
100g crab pieces flaked
2 dashes tabasco sauce
4 slices smoked salmon chopped
1 avocado stoned, peeled and chopped
Salmon
and Crab Avocado Method
In a bowl place the avocado,
crab, salmon, cream, mayonnaise, tomato sauce, tabasco sauce
and lemon juice and mix to combine. Cut the avocado into quarters
and remove the stone and brush with lemon juice then spoon
the filling into each cavity of each quarter and serve the
Salmon and Crab Avocado immediately.
