BALL RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Cheese Ball. It is a quick and
easy recipe to make. Cheese
Ball is an excellent appetizer to make if your running late
for a party as they are so simple to make. You can always
make the Cheese Ball up the night before if you prefer and
then just take them out when your ready for them.
Cheese
Ball Ingredients
1/4 tsp
salt
2/3 cup currants
2 tsp dijon mustard
1/8 tsp garlic powder
3/4 cup parsley chopped
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
4 oz blue cheese crumbled
1/2 cup pecans finely chopped
4 oz cheddar cheese shredded
8 oz cream cheese room temperature
DIPPERS:
apple wedges
assorted crackers
Cheese Ball
Method
Place
the cream cheese, blue cheese, cheddar cheese, mustard, worcestershire
sauce, garlic powder, and salt in a mixer bowl and beat at
low speed just until well mixed. Stir in the pecans and currants.
Refrigerate the Cheese Ball mixture for 30 minutes then shape
into a ball. Roll the Cheese Ball in the chopped parsley to
coat well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready
to serve. Let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes
before serving. Place on a platter surrounded with crackers
and apple wedges.
