OVERNIGHT
CHICKEN DIVAN RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Overnight Chicken Divan. It is
a quick and easy recipe to make. This recipe has the wonderful
flavours of chicken, broccoli, chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise,
sherry, paprika, mustard, curry powder and parmesan cheese.
My grand children really like this recipe and I like making
it for them when we are having a meal together as it gives
me great pleasure that they still come home for a meal so
I like to make their favourite meals.
Overnight
Chicken Divan Ingredients
1 tsp paprika
2 Tbs dry sherry
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 tsp curry powder
2 heads fresh broccoli
1 tsp prepared mustard
8 chicken breast halves
1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
1 can light cream of chicken soup undiluted
Overnight
Chicken Divan Method
In a large frying pan saute
the chicken in one tablespoon of oil then coarsely chop meat
and set aside. Cook broccoli until tender crisp and arrange
the broccoli in a lightly greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking dish.
Combine soup, paprika, sherry, sour cream, mayonnaise, curry
powder and mustard then spoon half of the sauce over the broccoli.
Arrange chicken over sauce and top with remaining sauce. Cover
and then refrigerate up to 24 hours. Bake the Overnight Chicken
Divan uncovered at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until thoroughly
heated. Sprinkle with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes.

PAELLA
RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Paella. It is a quick and
easy recipe to make. This
is an excellent chicken recipe. This is a great quick meal
to make and it is very nourishing. I usually make the Paella
on Friday night and we sit and relax in front of the television
and eat it. After working all week we just like to relax with
something quick on Friday nights and then put our feet up
and watch television. Great served with garlic bread.
Paella Ingredients
2 Tbs
butter
1 Tbs cornstarch
1/2 lb chicken pieces
2 garlic cloves crushed
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
1 1/4 cups chicken broth
10 oz frozen peas thawed
1 1/2 cups dry minute rice
1 can chopped tomatoes with liquid
Paella
Method
In a frying pan saute chicken
and garlic in butter until chicken is cooked then stir in
the cornstarch and cook for another minute. Add broth, tomatoes,
pepperoni, peas and cayenne pepper then bring to a full boil
stirring occasionally then stir in rice and saffron. Cover
the Paella and remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Fluff
the Paella with a fork and serve with hot garlic bread.
