IN CURRY SAUCE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Cook in Curry Sauce. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. This
is the most wonderful curry sauce to cook. What a great mixture
of mustard seeds, fenulgreek seeds, green chilies, curry leaves,
ginger, onion, tomatoes, turmeric, chili powder, coconut milk
and salt to use as your base for your curry. I usually make
some up and bottle it for another day.
Cook in
Curry Sauce Ingredients
salt
10 oz water
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder
5 Tbs vegetable oil
6 tomatoes chopped
2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp fenulgreek seeds
14 oz can coconut milk
2 thumb sized pieces ginger
3 onions peeled and chopped
A handful curry leaves ripped into small pieces
3 fresh green chilies seeds removed and thinly sliced
Cook in
Curry Sauce Method
Heat the oil in a pan when hot
add the mustard seeds and wait for them to pop then add the
fenulgreek, green chilli, curry leaves and ginger and stir
and fry for a few minutes. Using a food processor chop the
onion then add to pan and continue to cook. When brown and
soft add the chili powder and turmeric.Using the same food
processor blend the tomatoes and add to the pan. Cook for
a couple of minutes then add the water and the coconut milk.
Simmer for about 5 minutes until it has the consistency of
thick heavy cream then season carefully with salt. Use the
Cook in Curry Sauce as a base.
