CURRIED CHICKEN RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Curried Chicken. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. When
I make this recipe for Curried Chicken I make two lots up
as my husband likes his real hot and I like mine mild. We
have it the next day on toast to and it taste really good
the next day. I serve our curry with fried rice and it makes
a really nourishing meal especially on a winters night as
it really warms you up.
Curried
Chicken Ingredients
2 onions
1 cup water
salt to taste
3 cloves garlic
8 oz sour cream
5 Tbs cooking oil
3 medium potatoes
2 inch piece fresh ginger
4 tsp curry powder more if desired
10 chicken drumsticks or other cuts

Chicken Method
Cut the cooking onions, ginger
and garlic into smaller pieces then put them into a food processor
and mince finely. Skin and cut potatoes into quarters. Mix
the curry powder with some water to make a paste. Heat oil
in a non stick dutch oven. Stir fry the minced onion mixture
until fragrant then add in the curry paste and stir fry mixing
well for 2 minutes. Add the chicken and potatoes and mix well
then cook covered for about 2 minutes then add sour cream
and water and mix well. Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer.
Cook covered on low heat for about 30 minutes. Serve the Curried
Chicken with fried rice.

This
recipe will teach you how to make Curried Chicken Balls. It
is a quick and easy recipe to make. These
Curried Chicken Balls are great served over noodles. My grandsons
really like the chicken balls with noodles and they usually
take some home for their meal the next day. It makes me feel
real good to see my grandsons enjoy my cooking.
Another way to have the Curried Chicken Balls
are as an appetizer.
Curried Chicken Balls Ingredients
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tsp curry powder
3 Tbs minced celery
2 Tbs orange marmalade
3 Tbs minced green onion
3 cups finely minced cooked chicken
1 cup finely chopped almonds toasted
2 x 3 oz packets
cream cheese softened
Curried
Chicken Balls Method
In a mixing bowl combine cream
cheese, orange marmalade, curry powder, salt and pepper then
beat until smooth. Stir in the chicken, onion and celery.
Shape into 1 inch balls then roll in almonds. Cover and chill
until firm. Cook in hot oil in deep fryer. Serve the Curried
Chicken Balls over a bed of noodles.
