SUGAR BISCUITS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Crunchy Date Biscuits. It is a
quick and easy recipe to make. These are a wonderful tasting
biscuit recipe with the flavour of the icing sugar, almonds
and vanilla essence. They make a good biscuit for the childrens
school lunches.

Sugar Biscuits Ingredients
4 oz margarine
3/4 cup icing sugar
a little castor sugar
1 1/2 cup plain flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup ground almonds

Sugar Biscuits Method
Cream butter until soft and
gradually add icing sugar and beat until creamy. Stir in almonds
and vanilla then blend in the flour using your hand if necessary.
Shape the dough into a roll about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Sprinkle caster sugar on a piece of waxed paper and wrap dough
in it. Using a sharp knife cut the dough into thin slices.
Place on a greased biscuit tray and bake in moderate oven
375 degrees for 10 minutes.
