This recipe

of mine was diagnosed with it as I wanted healthy treats for
him when he came to our place for afternoon tea.

Date Dainties Ingredients
2 eggs
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup nuts
1/3 cup dates chopped
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
1 1/2 tsp liquid sweetener
Diabetic
Date Dainties Method
Beat eggs, sweetener and baking
powder then add dates, flour and nuts and stir in bread crumbs.
Chill then measure by teaspoonful onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake the Diabetic Date Dainties at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.

FRUIT COOKIES RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Diabetic Fruit Cookies.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. These
Diabetic Fruit Cookies are not just good for diabetics but
are good for everyone as they are healthy. If your a diabetic
you have to have the right portions so I make the Diabetic
Fruit Cookies already the right portion. My friend really
likes these Diabetic Fruit Cookies with his cup of tea as
he is a diabetic.
Diabetic Fruit Cookies Ingredients
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs beaten
3/4 cup raisins
1 cup quick oats
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup dates chopped
1 cup pecans chopped
1/2 cup apples peeled and chopped

Fruit Cookies Method
Sift flour and soda then set
aside. In a large saucepan boil water, dates, apple and raisins
then simmer for 3 minutes and remove from heat and add the
margarine and stir. Cool mixture and then add eggs, oatmeal
and the dry ingredients then add the vanilla and nuts. Cover
and refrigerate overnight. Drop teaspoonfuls on cookie sheets
2 inches apart. Bake the Diabetic Fruit Cookies in a 350 degree
oven for about 24 minutes. Store in the refrigerator in air
tight container.
