DOUBLE
COOKED PORK RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Double Cooked Pork. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. This is the most sensational way
of doing pork. The flavour of the pork done with the scallions,
vegetable oil, soybean paste, sweet bean sauce and meat stock
goes into giving this asian style recipe its exquisite taste.
The Double Cooked Pork is great served over a bed of rice.
Double
Cooked Pork Ingredients
3 oz scallions
1 Tbs vegetable oil
1/4 cup meat stock
2 Tbs soybean paste
1 Tbs sweet bean sauce
1 1b fresh boneless pork
Double
Cooked Pork Method
Make sure
you wash the pork first then drop it into a large saucepan
of boiling water and boil for 8 minutes. Remove and then drain
the pork and then cut the pork into slices about 2 inches
long by 1 ½ inches wide and ¼ inch thick and set aside. Cut
the scallions on a slant into 1 inch pieces and set aside.
Heat the oil in a wok to very hot and then add the pork slices,
soybean paste, sweet bean sauce, scallions and stock. Stir
fry the Double Cooked Pork for 5 minutes or until the scallions
are tender and the soybean paste loses its raw taste. Remove
and serve the Double Cooked Pork with fried rice.
