DUCK
WITH ALMONDS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Duck With Almonds. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. I have not always liked duck but
when I tried it this way with almonds I really enjoyed it.
The duck, mushrooms, celery, peas and the other ingredients
in this recipe combined with the almonds makes the Duck With
Almonds taste sensational.
Duck With
Almonds Ingredients
2 Tbs oil
1 tsp salt
1 cup stock
2 sticks celery
1 lb duck meat
2 tsp cornstarch
4 oz frozen peas
2 Tbs soy sauce
2 oz fresh mushrooms
3 oz split toasted almonds

Almonds Method
First thing to do is to cut
the duck meat into paper thin slices then heat the oil and
add the salt and duck and fry for about 5 minutes or until
the meat is tender. Add the soy sauce and mix well. Wash and
chop the celery, wash and thinly slice the mushrooms, add
both to the pan with the peas and mix well then cook for 1
minute. Add the stock and bring to the boil and simmer for
5 minutes. Mix the cornstarch to a smooth paste with a little
cold water then stir into the pan and bring to the boil stirring
all the time until slightly thickened then add the almonds.
Duck With Almonds is really good served with jasmin rice.
