EASY
VANILLA SLICE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Easy Vanilla Slice. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. This is a great tasting slice especially
with the passionfruit icing on top. When my grandsons come
over I make this up the day before and then I give them a
scoop of ice cream with it.
Easy Vanilla
Slice Ingredients
1 cup milk
300ml carton thickened cream
85g packet vanilla instant pudding
250g packet morning coffee biscuits
Passionfruit Icing:
2 passionfruit
1 tsp soft butter
1 cup icing sugar
Easy Vanilla
Slice Method
First thing cover the base of
23cm square slab pan with the biscuits, plain side down. Combine
cream and milk in a large bowl and add the pudding mix and
mix with a rotary beater for about 1 minute or until smooth
then pour mixture over the biscuits. Top with a single layer
of biscuits plain side down then top with icing and refrigerate
the Easy Vanilla Slice overnight before cutting.
Passionfruit Icing: In a small heatproof bowl combine
the sifted icing sugar, passionfruit pulp and butter. Stir
over hot water until icing is spreadable.
