EGG
ROLLS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Egg Rolls. It is a quick and easy
recipe to make. We usually
have an easy meal on Friday nights so I usually make up some
of these Egg Rolls and we sit around relaxing and dipping
our Egg Rolls into our sauce and eating them.
Egg Rolls
Ingredients
1 tsp salt
3 cups oil
1 tsp sugar
dash pepper
1 beaten egg
2 stalks celery
10 egg roll skins
1/2 lb cooked pork
1/4 tsp sesame oil
10 water chestnuts
1/2 lb cooked shrimp
1 lb chinese cabbage
1/2 tsp light soy sauce
1/3 cup bamboo shoots
Egg Rolls
Method
Boil cabbage and celery until
very tender then drain out excess water. Shred very fine and
set aside to drain further. Parboil shrimp and fry pork and
then mince the shrimp and pork. Shred water chestnuts and
bamboo shoots and then mix all the ingredients together except
the egg. In a small bowl beat the egg. Wrap filling in Egg
Rolls skins and seal with egg. Heat oil in the deep fryer
to 375 degrees and drop in Egg Rolls. When skin turns light
golden brown remove the Egg Rolls from the oil and drain.
When cool drop the Egg Rolls again into the hot oil and fry
until golden brown. These Egg Rolls are great served with
a dip of your choosing.
