ESCARGOT
PIZZA RECIPE

This recipe
will teach you how to make Escargot Pizza. It is a quick and
easy recipe to make. This
pizza recipe is only for people who likes snails or are willing
to try the Escargot Pizza as escargot means snails. I only
tried the Escargot Pizza as I did not know what escargot meant
but even when I found out what it was I had already got to
like this Escargot Pizza. I should have realised when my daughter
gave it to me it would be something different as she was always
trying different foods.

Pizza Ingredients
1/2 lb
butter
2 cloves garlic
2 oz tomato sauce
2 Tbs parsley fresh
1 french bread dough
8 oz chanterelle mushrooms
dried
1 1/2 lb raclette cheese shredded
10 oz french snails the smaller the better

Pizza Method
Make the French Bread dough
recipe at least 1 day before hand if you can. Roll the dough
out into the shape of a pizza then put it on a pizza tray
and set it aside. It will keep in the refrigerator overnight.
Prepare the dried mushrooms by soaking them then washing and
cutting them. Then resoak, wash and drain. If the snails are
too large like the size of a garlic clove then cut them in
pieces and drain the snails well. Melt the butter in a baking
dish and add the snails, crushed garlic, salt and pepper to
taste. Put the bread dough pan on the top rack of the oven
and the snails on the bottom rack of the oven and cook them
both for 10 minutes then take them out. Spread the tomato
sauce in an even layer on the bread then sprinkle the raclette
cheese over it. Add the snails then the mushrooms. Sprinkle
with fresh parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Bake the Escargot
Pizza at 425 degrees in the top rack for 12 minutes as the
bottom rack will burn the crust.

FOLDOVER
BISCUIT PIZZA RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Foldover Biscuit Pizza.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make.
Foldover Biscuit Pizza is a very different pizza as it is
like a pie but has the taste of a pizza. This pizza recipe
is a great way to make a different pizza. My grandsons did
not believe me when I told them the Foldover Biscuit Pizza
was actually a pizza as they were so used to having the open
pizza but when they tasted it they really like it as it has
the taste of the open pizza.
Foldover Biscuit Pizza
Ingredients
1/2
tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
8 oz size can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp dried oregano leaves
8 oz size sliced mozzarella cheese
1/2
cup chopped green bell pepper
12 oz size can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
4 oz size can mushroom pieces and stems drained

Biscuit Pizza Method
Heat oven to 400 degrees and
grease large cookie sheet. In a large skillet combine ground
beef, onion and green pepper. Cook over medium heat for 8
minutes or until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently
then drain. Stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms, salt, pepper
and oregano and mix well. Reduce heat and simmer while preparing
biscuit dough. Separate dough into 10 biscuits. On greased
cookie sheet press or roll biscuits to form 14 x 10 inch rectangle.
Spread meat mixture over half of dough. Place cheese slices
over meat mixture. Carefully fold dough over cheese slices
to form long rectangle. Press edges with fork to seal. Bake
the Foldover Biscuit Pizza at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes
or until golden brown.
