FISH
IN TAMARIND SAUCE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Fish in Tamarind Sauce. It is a
quick and easy recipe to make. I
get sick of having deep fried fish or grilled fish so I like
to make all different fish recipes and the Fish in Tamarind
Sauce is one of my favourites. The flavour is really sensational
and the fish fillets are so tender they melt in your mouth.
Fish in
Tamarind Sauce Ingredients
2 tsp sugar
2 Tbs water
4 white fish fillets
1 Tbs water extra
1 1/2 tsp cornflour
1/4 tsp ground cummin
1/4 cup tamarind sauce
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
3 green chopped shallots
Fish in
Tamarind Sauce Method
In a large shallow microwave
dish place the fish in a single layer and then cover and cook
on high for about 4 minutes or until fih is tender. In a small
bowl combine the tamarind sauce, water, cummin, ginger, sugar
and shallots and then cover and cook on high for 1 minute.
Stir the blended cornflour and extra water into the tamarind
mixture then cook on high for about 1 minute or until the
sauce boils and thickens. Pour the sauce over the fish just
before serving the Fish in Tamarind Sauce.

FISH
WITH WHITE WINE SAUCE RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Fish with White Wine Sauce.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make.
This is a great way of doing your ocean perch fillets or any
thick white fish fillets. The white wine sauce makes the fish
taste really devine and I usually serve it with salad and
hot chips as my husband really likes his chips with his Fish
with White Wine Sauce. This is also a great meal to have if
you are having visitors over for dinner as long as they are
fish eaters.
Fish with White Wine Sauce
Ingredients
2 tsp lemon juice
4 thick white fish fillets
White Wine Sauce:
1 bay leaf
60g butter
1 egg yolk
3/4 cup water
1 onion chopped
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 1/2 Tbs plain flour
1 stick celery chopped
1/4 cup dry white wine

with White Wine Sauce Method
In a large shallow microwave
dish place the fish fillets in single layer and sprinkle the
fish with the lemon juice then cover and cook on high for
4 minutes then serve the fish with the sauce and cook hot
chips to have with the Fish with White Wine Sauce. To make
the white wine sauce combine the water, wine, celery, onion
and bay leaf in a bowl then cover and cook on high for 3 minutes
in the microwave then strain and reserve liquid. Melt the
butter in a bowl on high for 1 minute then stir in the flour,
reserved liquid and egg yolk then cook on high for about 3
minutes or until liquid boils and thickens making sure to
stir occasionally then stir in lemon juice and cook on high
for about 1 minute more.
