STRAWBERRY
FOOL RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Strawberry Fool. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. This
is a wonderful tasting dessert with the blend of strawberries,
sugar, lemon juice, cream and wild strawberry fruche. I like
to make this dessert up when my children are coming home for
a meal as it is so easy and quick to make. I usually make
it in the morning so I can put extra time into the main meal.
The Strawberry Fool is great served in your crystal glasses
with those lovely long handle spoons. My grandchildren really
like it when I make the Strawberry Fool as they believe it
is so special the way I present it.
Strawberry
Fool Ingredients
1 cup cream
1/3 cup sugar
2 Tbs lemon juice
200g wild strawberry fruche
250g strawberries tops removed
extra strawberries for decoration

Fool Method
In a blender add the strawberries
and sugar and puree them then add the lemon juice. Beat the
cream with an electric beater or if you have not got beaters
just whisk until thick then fold in the wild strawberry fruche
and the strawberry puree. Serve into your crystal glasses
and refrigerate until chilled. Decorate the Strawberry Fool
with slices of strawberries.

APPLE
AND ORANGE CRUMBLE RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Apple and Orange Crumble.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This
is one of my mothers favourite recipes that she used to make
a lot for our family as we were a big family and this always
seemed a very economical dessert to make. Mum always had us
a real good dinner cooked up in the evening and I am so pleased
she taught me to cook as now I am cooking for my family and
my dear mums recipes are getting passed down to the generations
in our family and I have to admit the Apple and Orange Crumble
is one of all our family favourites.
Apple and Orange Crumble Ingredients
1
cup plain flour
1
tsp orange zest
2 Tbs brown sugar
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/3
cup butter or margarine
4
apples peeled cored and sliced
2 oranges peeled and cut into
segments
Apple
and Orange Crumble Method
Preheat
the oven to 180 degrees. In an ovenproof dish place the apple
slices, orange zest and the segments of orange. In a bowl
combine the flour, butter and sugar and combine with your
fingertips until it looks like fine crumbs then stir through
the oats and then spread it evenly over the apple and orange.
Bake the Apple and Orange Crumble in the oven for 30 minutes
or until the apple is cooked and the crumble is golden. Serve
the Apple and Orange Crumble with a good dollop of whipped
cream.
