Rice Pilaf Ingredients
2 Tbs butter
21/2 cups water
1 cup uncooked rice
3 Tbs sliced almonds
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp seasoned salt
1 medium tomato chopped
1/4 cup green onions sliced
1/3 cup dried apples minced
1/4 cup dried apricots minced
Fruity
Rice Pilaf Method
On high heat bring the water
to a boil and add the rice and butter and return to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the rest of the
ingredients except the almonds and cook 5 to 10 minutes more
then stir the almonds into the Fruity Rice Pilaf.

salt
1 Tbs vegetable oil
1/2 cup seedless raisins
1 cup sliced green onions
3 cups cooked brown rice
1 cup thinly sliced carrots
1 Tbs sesame seeds toasted
2 medium apples cored and chopped
Harvest
Time Rice Method
Cook the carrots in oil in
a large skillet over medium high heat until tender crisp.
Add the apples and the green onions and cook an additional
5 minutes. Stir in the rice, raisins, sesame seeds and salt.
Cook the Harvest Time Rice stirring frequently until thoroughly
heated.
