GINGERBREAD
RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Gingerbread. It is a quick and
easy recipe to make. Gingerbread
is a really good and easy microwave recipe. This recipe has
a really good ginger taste which my father really loved. My
mother passed the recipe for the Gingerbread down to me and
I have passed it to my children as it is the nicest Gingerbread
I have ever tasted. The ginger and the treacle is the secret
to this Gingerbread being very exceptional.
Gingerbread
Ingredients
60g butter
1 small egg
2 Tbs treacle
3 tsp caster sugar
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 cup plain flour sifted
1/2 tsp ground mixed spice
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Method
Place the treacle, sugar and
the butter into a medium microwave bowl then microwave for
1 1/2 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool slightly then stir
in the dry ingredients and then beat in the egg. Pour into
an ungreased 6 cup deep oblong plastic container. Stand on
an upturned plate and microwave for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes turning
container around once. Allow the Gingerbread to stand covered
for 5 minutes before turning out. Serve the Gingerbread sliced
with butter.

GINGER
SPONGE PUDDING RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Ginger Sponge Pudding. It
is a quick and easy recipe to make.
Ginger Sponge Pudding is the most delicious microwave recipe.
It has a wonderful blend of preserved ginger and ground ginger
which makes this recipe taste so exceptional. My husband really
loves this pudding as he likes the taste of ginger and then
you add some custard or cream to the Ginger Sponge Pudding
and you have a really exquisit dessert.
Ginger Sponge Pudding
Ingredients
2 eggs
125g butter
2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 cup self raising flour sifted
5 pieces preserved ginger drained and sliced

Sponge Pudding Method
Cream the butter and sugar
together until light and fluffy then beat in the eggs one
at a time then fold in the sifted flour and ground ginger.
Arrange the sliced ginger over the base of a greased 4 cup
basin. Turn the pudding mixture into the basin over the ginger
smoothing the top. Microwave uncovered for 3 minutes. Turn
the bowl around and Microwave for a further 3 minutes. Leave
the Ginger Sponge Pudding to stand covered for 2 minutes before
turning it out. Serve hot with custard or whipped cream.
