GOLDEN
BEEF CASSEROLE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Golden Beef Casserole. It is an
easy recipe to make. This is a wonderful recipe to make on
a cold winters night. My family and I make the Golden Beef
Casserole and then sit around the fire eating it and we usually
have a warm crusty bread roll with it.

Beef Casserole Ingredients
2 Tbs fat
2 onions
1 tsp salt
1 large tomato
seasoned flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1 green pepper
1 1/2 lb chuck steak
2 medium sized parsnips
16 oz can of whole kernel corn
1/2 cup water and a beef soup cube

Beef Casserole Method
Cut the meat into cubes and
toss in about 1 1/2 tablespoons of seasoned flour. Heat the
fat in a pan and brown the meat on all sides then remove and
place in a casserole. Thinly slice the onions and saute in
the pan until soft then add to the casserole. Cover with peeled
and sliced tomato then add the salt and pepper and pour over
stock made from the soup cube and water. Cover and bake the
Golden Beef Casserole in a moderate oven, 350 degrees for
about 1 hour. Add rings of green pepper and prepared parsnips
and bake the Golden Beef Casserole for another 40 minutes
or until the meat and vegetables are tender. Add the drained
canned corn to the Golden Beef Casserole and bake for a further
20 minutes. Serve the Golden Beef Casserole with crusty dinner
rolls.
