GRAPE
TARTLETS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Grape Tartlets. It is a quick and
easy recipe to make. This
is a wonderful combination of custard and grapes and the taste
is really exceptional together. I like to make the Grape Tartlets
for my grandchildren to have for an after school snack as
I believe they are a healthy snack. I always make sure I make
enough so my husband gets a couple for his sweets after dinner
as he really likes the Grape Tartlets.
Grape
Tartlets Ingredients
2 tsp gelatine
1 cup custard
1 Tbs hot water
12 ready made tartlet cases
1/2 cup black grapes seeded and halved
1/2 cup green grapes seeded and halved
Grape
Tartlets Method
Heat the oven to 180 degrees
and bake the tartlet cases for 10 minutes or until golden
brown then cool. Combine the gelatine and water then stir
until the gelatine is dissolved and then mix into the custard.
Spoon the custard evenly into the tartlet cases and refrigerate
until the custard is set. After the custard has set top each
one with the different coloured grapes. I like to make different
patterns on the Grape Tartlets. Serve the Grape Tartlets with
a dollop of whipped cream on top.
Enjoy your freshly made
Grape Tartlets!
BREAD
AND BUTTER PUDDINGS RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Bread and Butter Puddings.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. I
like to make individual desserts as my husband and I live
in a flat at my daughters place and when I cook I like to
make their desserts to as my daughter does not get much time
with working so hard so I like to have them a treat cooked
for after they have their main meal. I do not cook hard recipes
that take hours just simple dessert recipes that taste really
sensational like the Bread and Butter Puddings and just add
some ice cream with it or a dollop of whipped cream on top
and I know my daughter and grandsons really appreciate what
I make for them.
Bread and Butter Puddings Ingredients
500mls milk
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp brown sugar
8 slices raisin bread
2 eggs lightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup apricot jam warmed until runny
Bread
and Butter Puddings Method
Heat
the oven to 160 degrees. Cut the crusts from the raisin bread
then cut the bread into 2cm cubes and place in a bowl and
toss together with the apricot jam and sugar. Coat 4 x 1 cup
ramekins with cooking spray then divide the bread mixture
between the ramekins. In a bowl mix together the eggs, milk,
vanilla and nutmeg then pour over the bread cubes and set
aside for 15 minutes. Bake the Bread and Butter Puddings in
the oven for 40 minutes or until they are set and the tops
are golden.
