HONEYED
CHICKEN WITH PINEAPPLE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Honeyed Chicken With Pineapple.

Honeyed
Chicken With Pineapple Ingredients
salt
cornflour
4 shallots
1clove garlic
1 red pepper
1 Tbs honey
1.5g chicken
1 tsp sesame oil
1 1/2 cups water
oil for deep frying
2 tsp cornflour extra
3 chicken stock cubes
2.5cm piece green ginger
450g can pineapple pieces

Chicken With Pineapple Method
Cut chicken into pieces and
coat lightly with cornflour. Place half the chicken pieces
into hot deep oil and fry until golden brown. Reduce heat
and cook for approximately 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked
through. Remove from oil and drain on absorbent paper. Cook
remaining chicken. Pour off excess oil leaving 2 tablespoons
of oil in pan. Add peeled and grated ginger and crushed garlic
to the pan and saute gently for 1 minute. Increase heat and
add drained pineapple and seeded and thinly sliced pepper,
toss quickly for 2 minutes then remove from pan.
Add combined water and extra cornflour to pan with crumbled
stock cubes, honey and sesame oil. Stir until sauce boils
and thickens then season with salt. Return pineapple, red
pepper and chicken to pan, toss mixture over high heat for
3 minutes or until chicken is heated through. Add thinly sliced
shallots, toss the Honeyed Chicken With Pineapple for a further
1 minute and serve with rice.
