Whole Wheat Bread Ingredients
1 Tbs salt
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup shortening
margarine softened
1/2 cup warm water
1 3/4 cup warm water
2 packets active dry yeast
6 to 7 cups whole wheat flour

Wheat Bread Method
In a large
bowl dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup water then stir in honey, salt,
shortening, 1 3/4 cup water and 3 1/2 cups flour and beat
until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to make dough easy
to handle. Knead 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place
in greased bowl and let rise until doubled. Grease 2 loaf
pans. Punch dough down and divide in half then form loaves
and let rise. Bake the Honey Whole Wheat Bread 40 to 45 minutes
at 375 degrees. Brush with margarine and cool the bread on
a rack.
