QUICK ENGLISH TRIFLE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Individual Quick English Trifle.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. It
usually takes hours to make trifle but this Individual Quick
English Trifle just takes a short time and the taste is magnificent.
My children all like me making this trifle as I get out my
good crystal glasses and make these in so the desset is really
special and looks sensational.

Quick English Trifle Ingredients
6 oz tinned mandarins
good glug sweet sherry
few drops vanilla extract
15 oz ready made custard
4 1/2 oz raspberry gelatine
8 slices ready made sponge cake
small block good quality chocolate
1/2 pint double cream lightly whipped

Quick English Trifle Method
Make the gelatine by following
the instructions on the side of the packet then pour into
a dish and leave. Once the gelatine is set roughly chop. Put
2 pieces of cake into the bottom of each glass. Drizzle with
the sherry and pour half of the custard over the cake and
sherry. Spoon the gelatine over the custard and then add the
mandarins. Cover with the rest of the custard and drizzle
with a little vanilla and cover with the whipped cream. Scrape
the chocolate with a sharp knife for shavings to top the lot
or be like me and arrange strawberries on top of the Individual
Quick English Trifle.
