JAM
DROPS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Jam Drops.
It is
a quick and easy recipe to make. This
biscuit recipe for Jam Drops is an old favourite recipe. They
were my favourites as a young girl as they were the first
thing I learnt to cook.
Jam Drops
Ingredients

1 egg
pinch salt
125g butter
2 tsp honey
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup arrowroot
1/2 cup plain flour
1 cup self raising flour
Jam Drops
Method
In a large bowl cream butter
and the sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and the honey
and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture
and mix well. Roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls then
put onto greased oven trays. With finger make small indentation
in centre of each biscuit and put 1/4 teaspoon of jam into
each indentation. I use all different colours of jam just
to make them different. Bake the Jam Drops in a moderate oven
15 minutes or until a light golden brown then leave to cool.
