SHANKS CREOLE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Lamb Shanks Creole. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. Lamb
Shanks Creole is something people have been cooking for years,
but I love them cooked this way as the flavour of the sauces,
sugar and mustard makes the taste of this recipe, then add
the shanks and onions and that makes a wonderful meal served
with rice or vegetables.
Lamb Shanks
Creole Ingredients
1 Tbs fat
1 tsp salt
1 dsp vinegar
1/2 cup water
4 lamb shanks
1 medium onion
1 tsp dry mustard

Place the fat in a frying pan
and heat until a light haze rises. Toss the shanks in the
seasoned flour then fry them in the fat until browned on all
sides then lift out and place in a casserole. Chop the onions
and brown them in the same pan. Add the remaining ingredients
and stir until boiling then pour over the shanks in the casserole.
Cover the Lamb Shanks Creole and bake in a moderate oven 350
degrees for about 2 hours or until the meat is tender. Serve
the Lamb Shanks Creole over hot cooked rice or mashed potato.
