LAMB CURRY RECIPE

Lamb Curry.

This recipe will teach you how to make Lamb Curry. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This curry recipe has a wonderful combination of cops, onions, apple, banana, tomatoes, pineapple pieces plus you add the rest of the ingredients and you have a wonderful tasting Lamb Curry. When I make curry for the family I always make two lots as some of my family only like a mild curry and my husband and grandsons like it hot so you can see that two lots of the curry do not go astray in my home. The Lamb Curry taste real good served with boiled rice and if there is any left over it goes really well on toast the next morning for breakfast.

Lamb Curry Ingredients

2 onions
1 banana
2 tomatoes
2 Tbs butter
1 small apple
1 Tbs chutney
salt and pepper
2 Tbs plain flour
1 dsp lemon juice
1 Tbs curry powder
1 1/2 lb shoulder chops
1 cup canned pineapple pieces
1 cup water and a beef soup cube

Lamb Curry Method

Trim the chops then melt the butter in a frying pan and brown the chops on both sides then remove them from the pan. In the remaining butter in the pan fry chopped onions, peeled and chopped apple and sliced banana for 5 minutes. Add the curry powder and flour then stir until smooth and cook a further 5 minutes. Peel and slice the tomatoes and add with the water and soup cube stirring until the sauce boils and thickens. Return the meat to the pan adding salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer for about 1 1/4 hours or until the chops are tender. Add the chutney, the well drained pineapple and lemon juice and continue cooking for about 3 minutes. Serve the Lamb Curry with freshly boiled rice.

LAMB PAPRIKA RECIPE

Lamb Paprika.

This recipe will teach you how to make Lamb Paprika. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. What a wonderful nourishing meal the Lamb Paprika makes especially if you serve it with boiled potatoes in there skin and peas. I really like making the Lamb Paprika for a special meal on a Sunday night for my husband and I as we do not have any of the children over that night and we sit and relax on our own with a good meal. I really enjoy setting the table up really lovely and add a candle and sit together and enjoy the Lamb Paprika.

Lamb Paprika Ingredients

3 dsp fat
1 dsp vinegar
1 dsp paprika
2 lb lamb chops
1/2 cup sour cream
3 medium sliced onions
10 oz can of condensed beef soup

Lamb Paprika Method

Heat the fat in a heavy based saucepan then add the chops and brown them on both sides. Lift out and drain on paper toweling while you fry the onions. Add the paprika and the vinegar then stir in the beef soup and bring to the boil. Return the Lamb Paprika to the pan and cover and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours or until they are tender. Beat the sour cream in a bowl with a little of the liquid in which the Lamb Paprika is cooking then pour into the Lamb Paprika and heat to almost boiling stirring well. Serve the Lamb Paprika with boiled potatoes and peas.
