LASAGNE
WITH PROSCIUTTO RECIPE

This recipe
will teach you how to make Lasagne with Prosciutto. It is

Lasagne
with Prosciutto Ingredients
2 Tbs olive oil
1/4 tsp oregano
ground black pepper
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup dry white wine
4 cloves garlic chopped
8 oz prosciutto chopped
1 medium onion chopped
4 Tbs fresh basil chopped
fresh basil sprigs for garnish
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 lb mozzarella cheese sliced thin
8 oz lasagne pasta noodles cooked
16 oz can whole peeled tomatoes chopped
Lasagne
with Prosciutto Method
Cook the lasagne noodles according
to package directions then drain and keep warm. To make the
lasagne sauce, in a large saucepan over medium heat saute
the garlic, onion and prosciutto in the olive oil for 4 minutes.
Add the lean beef, oregano, a touch of black pepper and saute
10 minutes. Add the wine and cook until the wine is almost
evaporated. Add tomatoes and basil then reduce heat and simmer
sauce 35 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Grease a 9 x 12 inch baking pan. Arrange first layer of lasagne
noodles a layer of the beef and prosciutto tomato sauce, ricotta
cheese, parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Add a second alternating
layer of noodles, sauce and other ingredients. Repeat until
pan is full ending up with a top layer of sauce. Sprinkle
with parmesan cheese and bake the Lasagne with Prosciutto
in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Garnish
with fresh basil.

PASTA WITH SCALLOPS RECIPE
This

Linguini Pasta with Scallops
Ingredients
4
oz water
4 Tbs olive oil
1 cup broccoli
1/2 lb linguini pasta
1/2 lb small scallops
3 cloves garlic crushed
grated zest of 2 lemons
4
oz frozen green beans
salt and pepper to taste
2 red peppers thinly sliced
1 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
Linguini
Pasta with Scallops Method
Cook linguini pasta as directed
on package. Add broccoli to the boiling pasta 1 minute before
draining the pasta. In a large frying pan saute scallops in
1 tablespoon of the olive oil over medium heat stirring frequently
until opaque about 5 minutes. Temporarily transfer to plate.
Using the same pan add the remaining 3 tablespoons olive oil.
Add the peppers, green beans, garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
Saute for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender but
a little crisp. Add the water and the reserved scallops to
the pan. Heat for 1 to 2 minutes then place in serving dish.
Add drained linguini and broccoli and toss the Linguini Pasta
with Scallops to mix.
