7 cups water
1 lb dry lentils
1/8 tsp pepper
1 meaty ham bone
1 cup onion chopped
1 cup celery chopped
1/4 cup parsley snipped
1 1/2 cups carrot chopped
1/4 tsp dried marjoram crushed

Ham Soup Method
Place all the ingredients
in a crockpot with the ham bone on the top. Cover and cook
on low heat setting for 11 hours. Lift the ham bone out from
the soup and remove the meat from the bone and chop the meat
up and return the meat to the soup. Lentil Ham Soup is really
good served with crusty rolls.
