LINZER
TART RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Linzer Tart. It is a quick and
easy recipe to make. This
is a wonderful tart made with fruit spread. I like this pie
with whipped cream for afternoon tea. My husband and I usually
have afternoon tea together every day and I like to make something
special for it and the Linzer Tart is one of our favourite
sweets.

Tart Ingredients
1 cup flour
2 egg yolks
1/4 tsp salt
2 Tbs apple juice
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp ground allspice
1/4 cup butter softened
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups ground almonds
10 oz raspberry fruit spread

Tart Method
Beat butter
in large bowl until light and fluffy then blend in egg yolks,
apple juice and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, salt,
cinnamon and allspice and mix well then stir in almonds. Gradually
add to butter mixture mixing until well blended. Spread 1
1/2 cups batter evenly onto bottom of 10 inch tart pan with
removable bottom or 10 inch springform pan. Spread fruit evenly
over batter leaving 1 inch border around edge. Spoon remaining
batter into pastry bag fitted with 1/2 inch plain or star
tip. Pipe batter in lattice design over fruit spread then
chill for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake
the Linzer Tart for 35 minutes until crust is golden brown
and fruit spread is bubbly. Cool completely on wire rack and
serve at room temperature.

MARBLED
CHEESECAKE RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Marbled Cheesecake. It is
a quick and easy recipe to make. Marbled
Cheesecake is an absolutely sensational dessert.The chocolate
cheese mixture mixed with the plain cheese mixture and swirled
around gives this cheesecake a fantastic look and the taste
is fabulous.
Marbled Cheesecake Ingredients

eggs
1 cup sugar
16 oz sour cream
1 Tbs vanilla extract
vegetable cooking spray
1/4 cup all purpose flour
16 oz cream cheese softened
1/2 cup chocolate wafer cookie crumbs
3 squares sweet baking chocolate melted

Cheesecake Method
Wrap outside bottom and sides
of a 9 inch springform pan with heavy duty aluminum foil.
Coat bottom of pan with cooking spray and sprinkle with chocolate
wafer cookie crumbs and set aside. Combine sugar, flour, vanilla,
cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl. Beat at medium speed
of an electric mixer until smooth then add eggs one at a time
and beat well after each addition. Pour half of cheese mixture
into a bowl add melted chocolate stirring until well blended.
Spoon alternating mounds of plain and chocolate cheese mixtures
into prepared pan and swirl with a knife to create a marbled
effect. Place pan in a large shallow pan and add hot water
to larger pan to a depth of 1 inch. Bake the Marbled Cheesecake
at 325 degrees for 45 minutes then remove from oven. Remove
springform pan from water and remove foil from pan. Let cool
1 hour then cover and chill at least 2 hours.
