LUNCHBOX BISCUITS RECIPE

This recipe will teach you how to make Lunchbox Biscuits. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. These biscuits have a wonderful flavour with the raisins, marmalade, rolled oats and ginger mixed with the rest of the ingredients makes the taste exceptional. Serve the Lunchbox Biscuits for afternoon tea with a cuppa and I'm sure everyone will enjoy them.

Lunchbox Biscuits Ingredients

1 egg
90g butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup marmalade
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 1/4 cups plain flour
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 1/4 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped raisins
1/4 cup self raising flour
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Lunchbox Biscuits Method

Put the butter and sugars into a bowl and cream then beat in egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture then fold in the oats, marmalade and raisins. Drop by the teaspoonfuls onto greased oven trays. Bake in moderately hot oven for 15 minutes or until evenly browned. Then sit down and enjoy a cuppa with the Lunchbox Biscuits.
