BAKED
PEAR WEDGES RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Baked Pear Wedges. It is
a quick and easy recipe to make. This
is a wonderful tasting way to do pears especially with the
combination of rolled oats, coconut, cinnamon and sugar coating
the pears and then baked. My family all like the Baked Pear
Wedges served with ice cream but if I want to do them a bit
more special I put a spoonful of other fruit on top then drizzle
a bit of maple syrup over it and top the Baked Pear Wedges
with whipped cream or ice cream.
Baked Pear Wedges Ingredients
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 egg lightly beaten
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup rolled oats roughly chopped
4 pears each cut into 6 wedges peeled and cored
Baked
Pear Wedges Method
Preheat
the oven to 180 degrees and then line a baking tray with baking
paper and spray lightly with cooking spray. In a bowl combine
the oats and coconut and then in another bowl combine the
egg, cinnamon and sugar then dip the pear wedges into the
mixture. Allow the excess egg mixture to drip off then roll
the pear in the oat and coconut mixture. Place the wedges
onto the baking tray and bake for 25 minutes or until the
pear is cooked and the coating is golden. Serve the Baked
Pear Wedges with ice cream.
Enjoy your freshly
made Baked Pear Wedges!
