MARINATED
CHICKEN WINGS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Marinated Chicken Wings. It is
a quick and easy recipe to make. Marinated
Chicken Wings served with a bowl of fried rice is an excellent
chinese meal to serve. The flavours of the chicken, shallots,
garlic, bamboo shoots, soy sauce, dry sherry, green ginger
and the chicken stock cube gives this recipe an exceptional
taste.
Marinated
Chicken Wings Ingredients
salt
3 Tbs oil
6 shallots
3/4 cup water
2 cloves garlic
1 Tbs cornflour
2 Tbs dry sherry
2 Tbs soy sauce
750g chicken wings
1 chicken stock cube
1 1/2 Tbs brown sugar
1 tsp grated green ginger
345g canned bamboo shoots
Marinated
Chicken Wings Method
In a bowl put shallots that
have been diagonally cut with crushed garlic, soy sauce, sherry,
green ginger, brown sugar, salt and chicken wings then combine
well. Let this mixture stand for 1 hour then drain and reserve
the marinade. Heat the oil in a wok and add drained and sliced
bamboo shoots, fry for 2 minutes then remove from wok. Add
to the wok chicken wings and shallots, cook over high heat
until golden brown on both sides. Reduce the heat and cook
for a further 10 minutes or until chicken is tender. Mix cornflour
with a little water then add remaining water, crumbled chicken
stock cube and the remaining marinade and add to the wok,
stir over high heat till sauce boils then add sliced bamboo
shoots, reduce heat and simmer further 2 minutes. Place Marinated
Chicken Wings on a serving dish and spoon sauce over it. Have
a big bowl of fresh steamed or fried rice with this meal.
