MOCHA
MARBLE PIE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Mocha Marble Pie. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. This
wonderful pie has a wheat biscuit and coconut crust with a
wonderful filling and the taste is just exquisit. All my family
likes the Mocha Marble Pie and they all come back for seconds
so with a big family like mine I usually make two of the Mocha
Marble Pie.

Marble Pie Ingredients
For The
Crust:
1/4 cup coconut
1/4 cup butter melted
1 cup shredded wheat biscuits
For The Filling:
1/2 cup sugar
1 dsp gelatine
5 oz chocolate
1 dsp cornflour
4 eggs separated
1/4 cup water cold
2 cups scalded milk
2 tsp instant coffee
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup cream whipped
1/2 cup sugar for egg whites

Marble Pie Method
Mix biscuit
crumbs, coconut and melted butter then press into the bottom
and sides of an 8 inch pie plate. Place in a moderate oven
350 degrees and bake for 15 minutes. Combine the 1/2 cup sugar
with the cornflour and add the powered coffee to the scalded
milk and gradually add to the beaten egg yolks, then stir
this into the sugar mixture. Cook over medium heat stirring
well until the mixture boils and thickens. Remove from the
heat and add the vanilla, chocolate and gelatine which has
been softened in the cold water. Stir until chocolate and
gelatine have dissolved then chill until the mixture begins
to thicken. Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form and
gradually beat in 1/2 cup sugar and beat again till thick
and glossy then fold lightly into the custard mixture. Pour
into the cooked biscuit crumb case, spread the whipped cream
over the top and swirl through the filling to make a marble
effect. Chill the Mocha Marble Pie until set about 2 hours.

PEACH
CREAM CHEESE PIE RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Peach Cream Cheese Pie.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. What
a sensational pie this is with a combination of peach puree,
lemon juice, cream cheese, icing sugar, sliced peaches and
the whipped cream for decoration. I really enjoy anything
with the flavour of peaches.
Peach Cream Cheese Pie Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 dsp cornflour
1Tbs lemon juice
1 baked pie shell
1/4 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup peach puree
4 oz packet cream cheese
1 small can sliced peaches
whipped cream for decoration
Peach
Cream Cheese Pie Method
Combine cornflour, sugar and
blend in the peach puree, lemon juice and water. Place in
a saucepan and stir over medium heat until the mixture boils
and thickens. Cook for 1 minute then remove from heat and
allow to cool. Blend the cream cheese well with the icing
sugar and spread evenly over the bottom of the cooked and
cooled pastry shell then chill until set. Drain the peaches
well and arrange the slices in the pie shell on top of the
creamed cheese mixture. Pour over the cooled peach puree mixture
then chill until serving time. Decorate the Peach Cream Cheese
Pie with whipped sweetened cream.
