NOODLES
WITH CHILI VEGETABLES RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Noodles with Chili Vegetables.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This is a wonderful
tasting meal to make when you just want to kick your shoes
off and relax in front of the television for the night. You
can add any vegetables you like to this dish but I just put
the ones I like in it.
Noodles
with Chili Vegetables Ingredients
2 eggs
40g ghee
1 Tbs water
2 onions sliced
2 Tbs soy sauce
160g bean sprouts
1 tsp vegetable oil
2 Tbs tomato sauce
2 tsp ground turmeric
2 tomatoes halved, sliced
400g baby potatoes halved
300g thick fresh rice noodles
1 cup shredded chinese cabbage
Chili Paste:
2 tsp belacan
4 shallots halved
2 tsp sambal oelek
4 cloves garlic halved
Noodles
with Chili Vegetables Method
In a medium saucepan combine
turmeric and potato then add enough water to cover and bring
it to the boil and simmer uncovered until potatoes are just
tender then drain. In a heatproof bowl add the noodles and
cover with boiling water and let them stand until just tender
then drain. Beat eggs and water together in a bowl. Heat oil
in wok and pour in egg mixture then cook without stirring
until set then remove from the wok. Roll the egg omelette
up firmly and slice thinly.
Clean the wok and heat the ghee in it add chili paste until
fragrant then add onion and stir fry until very soft. Now
add tomato, sprouts, cabbage and sauces and stir fry until
cabbage is just soft. Add potatoes, noodles and half the sliced
omelette to vegetable mixture then toss over heat until heated
through then top the Noodles with Chili Vegetables with the
remaining omelette. Chili Paste: Blend all the ingredients
until finely chopped.
