OATMEAL RECIPE

This recipe will teach you how to make Oatmeal. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. Below is a simple crockpot recipe for making your own oatmeal. It is simply superb! The taste of the cinnamon, oats, apple, raisins and walnuts with brown sugar and butter served with milk is just so full of flavour and nourishment and the best thing of all you put it into the crockpot the night before and when you get up the next morning your breakfast is cooked all you have to do is add your milk to your Oatmeal.

Oatmeal Ingredients

1/4 tsp salt
2 cups milk
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbs melted butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped apple
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Oatmeal Method

Grease the inside of a crockpot then add all the ingredients into crockpot and mix with whisk and cover. Just before going to bed turn on the crockpot to low heat. The cereal will be ready for you when you get up in the morning. Serve the Oatmeal with milk.

Old Fashion Vegetable Soup.

This recipe will teach you how to make Old Fashion Vegetable Soup. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This soup has been handed down in the generations of my family. The wonderful mixture of soup bones, celery salt, water, salt, onion, carrots, celery, potatoes, corn, tomatoes and turnips makes the Old Fashion Vegetable Soup a wonderful thick soup and the taste is absolutely sensational.

Old Fashion Vegetable Soup Ingredients

1 tsp salt
2 quarts water
2 lb soup bones
1 tsp celery salt
1 cup carrots diced
1/2 cup celery diced
2 cups potatoes diced
1 small onion chopped
1 large can tomatoes cut up
2 turnips peeled and finely chopped
1 large can whole kernel corn undrained

Old Fashion Vegetable Soup Method

Place the soup bones, water, salts, onions, carrots and celery in crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Remove bones and chop the meat off them and return to pot. Add potatoes, corn, tomatoes and turnips. Cover the Old Fashion Vegetable Soup and cook on high for 3 hours more.
