ORANGES
IN LIQUEUR RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Oranges in Liqueur. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. This is a very simple but great tasting
dessert especially served with ice cream and almond bread
or just with whipped cream. My husband and family love it
best with the ice cream and almond bread.
Oranges
in Liqueur Ingredients
1 cup castor sugar
3 Tbs orange liqueur
6 large seedless oranges
Oranges
in Liqueur Method
Peel one orange thinly with
a peeler then cut the peel in fine shreds and put into a bowl
and cover with boiling water and leave 10 minutes then drain
and set aside. Cut the skin and pith from all the oranges
then cut into thin slices. In a serving dish arrange the orange
slices overlapping and sprinkle with the sugar and orange
liqueur then cover and leave in a cool place overnight. Just
before serving the Oranges in Liqueur top with the orange
shreds and serve with ice cream and almond bread.
Enjoy your freshly made Oranges
in Liqueur!
