CHICKEN WINGS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Oriental Chicken Wings. It is a
quick and easy recipe to make. Wings are my favourite part
of the chicken and done the oriental style makes the taste
really fantastic. The Oriental Chicken Wings are really good
to make as an appetizer when you are having a party or as
a meal over a bed of rice either way they are good. My daughter
had them as an appetizer at her graduation party and her friends
really enjoyed them.
Oriental
Chicken Wings Ingredients
1 scallion
2 Tbs honey
6 chicken wings
pinch of cayenne
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 small clove garlic
1 tsp sesame seeds
1/2 tsp grated ginger
2 tsp rice wine vinegar
1/2 tsp oriental sesame oil
1 Tbs chopped fresh parsley

Chicken Wings Method
Remove wing tips and cut wings
in half at the joint. Mince garlic and scallion. Combine soy
sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, ginger, oil and cayenne in
a microwave safe dish then add wings and turn to coat and
marinate at least 30 minutes turning twice. Put larger wings
at the edge of the dish then cover with plastic and vent.
Microwave on high for 5 minutes then rotate plate and cook
5 minutes longer. Transfer wings to a serving plate. Return
marinade to oven and cook partially covered on high for 2
minutes. Pour marinade over wings and turn to coat. Sprinkle
the Oriental Chicken Wings with sesame seeds, scallion and
parsley.

CHICKEN WONTONS RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Oriental Chicken Wontons.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. These
wontons are a fantastic appetizer to have with plum or sweet
and sour sauce. They look really good served on a black plate
with the sauce in the middle of the Oriental Chicken Wontons
as the colours look really good. The taste of the Oriental
Chicken Wontons are sensational but you can make them with
beef if you prefer but I really like chicken.
Oriental Chicken Wontons Ingredients
1 Tbs
dry sherry
2 tsp cornstarch
1 Tbs soy sauce
2 tsp grated ginger root
2 Tbs margarine melted
8 oz ground raw chicken
1/2 cup shredded carrots
plum or sweet and sour sauce
1/2 x 16 oz packet wonton wrappers
1/4 cup finely chopped water chestnuts

Chicken Wontons Method
In a medium skillet cook and stir ground
chicken until no pink remains then drain and stir in carrots,
waterchestnuts, soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch and ginger root
and mix well. Spoon 1 rounded teaspoon of the filling onto
a wonton wrapper and lightly brush edges with water. To
shape each wonton carefully bring 2 opposite points of the
square wrapper up over the filling and pinch together in the
center then carefully bring the 2 remaining opposite points
to the center and pinch together. Pinch together edges to
seal. Place wontons on a greased baking sheet and brush the
wontons with melted margarine. Bake in a 375 degree oven for
10 minutes or until lightly brown and crisp. Serve the Oriental
Chicken Wontons with plum or sweet and sour sauce.
