WITH TURNIP TOPS RECIPE

This recipe

olive oil
100g onion
caster sugar
grated cheese
2 garlic cloves
1 kg turnip tops
400g peeled tomatoes
4 sprigs fresh coriander
350g wide pasta noodles
Pasta
with Turnip Tops Method
Fill a large saucepan full of
salted water and bring to the boil. Clean and wash the turnip
tops and put them in the boiling water for 6 minutes. Meanwhile
finely chop the onion and 1 clove garlic together and fry
in 5 tablespoons of olive oil in a small saucepan. Puree the
tomatoes and add to the onion. Season with salt and pepper
and add the fresh coriander and a pinch of sugar. Stir and
gradually bring to the boil. Turn the heat down low and simmer
for about 20 minutes stirring from time to time. Remove the
turnip tops from the water with a slotted spoon and drain
well. Saute them in a large frying pan in 3 tablespoons of
olive oil with 1 lightly crushed garlic clove. Top up the
water in the saucepan that the turnip tops were boiled to
make at least 3 litres and bring to the boil. Pour in the
pasta and cook till its soft. Drain and put the pasta in the
pan with the turnip tops then add the tomato sauce. Saute
the Pasta with Turnip Tops for a few minutes then serve with
grated cheese.

RIGATONI
WITH VODKA RECIPE
This

Rigatoni with Vodka is a sensational pasta recipe. Cream,
bacon bits, cheese and vodka makes this a great tasting meal.
Rigatoni with Vodka Ingredients
1
Tbs salt
2 lb rigatoni
2 Tbs olive oil
11/2 oz vodka
1 oz bacon bits
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 quart heavy cream
1/2 oz parsley chopped
1/2 tsp cracked red pepper
1 oz grated romano cheese
2 cloves fresh garlic minced
24 oz canned tomato sauce plain
Rigatoni
with Vodka Method
In a medium saucepan heat oil
until hot. Add garlic and saute until golden brown then add
tomato sauce, salt, red pepper, black pepper and basil. Cook
over medium heat stirring occasionally until thoroughly heated.
Add heavy cream and vodka. Stir to mix and cook for a few
minutes. Boil rigatoni according to package instructions do
not overcook. In a mixing bowl combine drained pasta with
cream sauce and mix thoroughly. Transfer to a serving bowl
and sprinkle with grated cheese, bacon and parsley. Serve
the Rigatoni with Vodka immediately.
