PEPPER STEAK RECIPE

Pepper Steak.

This recipe will teach you how to make Pepper Steak. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. Pepper Steak is a great crockpot recipe to make. It taste great and served with rice makes this recipe sensational. This is one of my families favourite recipes and it is so easy to put everything into one pot and cook it.

Pepper Steak Ingredients

1 tsp salt
3 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs cornstarch
1 tsp white sugar
1/4 cup hot water
3 Tbs vegetable oil
1 cube beef bouillon
garlic powder to taste
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 large green bell peppers chopped
2 lb beef sirloin cut into 2 inch strips
14.5 oz can stewed tomatoes with liquid

Pepper Steak Method

Sprinkle strips of sirloin with garlic powder to taste. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the seasoned beef strips then transfer to a crockpot. Mix bouillon cube with hot water until dissolved then mix in cornstarch until dissolved and pour into the crockpot with the meat. Add onion, green pepper, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, sugar and salt. Cover and cook the Pepper Steak on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve the Pepper Steak with rice.

POTATO SOUP RECIPE

Potato Soup.

This recipe will teach you how to make Potato Soup. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This soup has been handed down in the generations of my family. The wonderful mixture of potatoes, onions, carrots and celery mixed with the rest of the ingredients makes a wonderful creamy hearty soup.

Potato Soup Ingredients

1 tsp salt
6 cups water
1/2 cup butter
pepper to taste
1 onion chopped
2 carrots chopped
3 stalks celery chopped
4 chicken bouillon cubes
13 oz can evaporated milk
8 potatoes peeled and chopped into small chunks

Potato Soup Method

Mix the potatoes, onion, carrots, celery, salt and water in a crockpot then add the soup bouillon. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 4 to 6 hours. When the vegetables are tender add the butter and the evaporated milk and bring it to the boil again. Season the Potato Soup with the pepper to taste and pour into serving bowls.
