PINEAPPLE
RUM AND CHERRY CAKE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Pineapple Rum and Cherry Cake.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This
cake taste really exceptional with the lemon rind, orange
rind, sultanas, rum, glazed cherries and glazed pineapple
mixed with the rest of the ingredients mixed in. Then you
can decorate the Pineapple Rum and Cherry Cake with cream
and cherries.

Rum and Cherry Cake Ingredients
4 eggs
1 cup sultanas
2 Tbs dark rum
1 cup castor sugar
250g butter chopped
1 3/4 cups plain flour
2 tsp grated lemon rind
1/4 cup self raising flour
1 Tbs grated orange rind
1 cup chopped glazed cherries
3/4 cup chopped glazed pineapple
Pineapple Rum and Cherry Cake Method
Grease a deep 20cm round cake
pan and line base and sides with baking paper.In a large bowl
of electric mixer add butter, rinds, sugar, eggs, flours and
rum then beat on low speed until ingredients are combined.
Then beat on medium speed until mixture is smooth and changed
in colour. Stir in fruit then spread mixture into prepared
pan. Bake the Pineapple Rum and Cherry Cake in moderately
slow oven for about 2 hours. Cover hot cake tightly with foil
and cool in pan. Decorate
with cream and cherries.
