4 cloves garlic
1 lb pinto beans
1/2 yellow onion
2 qts spring water
1/2 bunch fresh cilantro
1/2 green bell pepper diced

Simmer all ingredients in a
covered pot until beans are tender. Smash or blend about 1/2
the beans to thicken. Add spices of choice to the Pinto Bean
Soup but limit salt and pepper.

celery, chicken cubes and evaporated milk makes the taste

Potato Soup Ingredients
1 tsp salt
6 cups water
1/2 cup margarine
2 carrots chopped
black pepper to taste
3 stalks celery chopped
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1 medium onion chopped
13 oz can evaporated milk
8 medium potatoes peeled and chopped into small chunks

Soup Method
Mix the potatoes, onion, carrots,
celery, salt and water in a large saucepan. Bring the mixture
to a boil and add the bouillon cubes. Simmer until the vegetables
are tender and add the margarine and the evaporated milk then
bring to a boil again. Season the Potato Soup with the pepper
to taste and pour into serving bowls.
