POPOVERS
RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Popovers. It is a quick and easy
recipe to make. Popovers
are similar to yorkshire pudding. They use to have a meaty
flavour but today they have more of a buttery taste. They
are usually served with a meal or just as an appetizer as
you can make all different flavoured Popovers these days.
I enjoy the parmesan cheese flavoured ones.

Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tbs melted butter
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Method
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Butter well a 9 x 3 inch muffin pan cups. With mixer at low
speed beat eggs slightly then beat in milk and melted butter
then gradually beat in flour and salt. Place a spoonful of
parmesan in each muffin cup dividing evenly among all. Pour
batter in cups dividing evenly among all. Bake Popovers for
40 minutes and then remove them from the oven. Quickly cut
a slit in the side of each Popovers to let out the steam and
then return them to the oven for 10 minutes or until tops
are very firm, crisp and brown. Immediately remove the Popovers
from the pan and serve.
