PORK
AND SQUID STIR FRY RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Pork and Squid Stir Fry. It is
a quick and easy recipe to make. You
may not like the sound of squid in a stir fry but believe
me just try it as it is absolutely sensational. The combination
of pork, squid, soy sauce, sherry, spring onions, vegetable
stock and ginger root really gives the Pork and Squid Stir
Fry an exceptional taste that all your family or friends will
enjoy. Sometimes we are put off cooking a recipe because we
do not like something in it but please do not do this just
try it then sit down and enjoy it.
Pork and
Squid Stir Fry Ingredients
1 tsp cornflour
1 tsp sesame oil
16 spring onions
1 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs dry sherry
1 Tbs safflower oil
250g squid cut into thin strips
4 Tbs unsalted vegetable stock
2 tsp finely chopped fresh ginger root
250g pork fillet trimmed of fat cut into thin strips
Pork and
Squid Stir Fry Method
Put the pork and squid into
a bowl with the soy sauce and sherry and leave to marinate
for 45 minutes. For the garnish cut the spring onions in half
and slice some of the green tops into julienne and set aside.
Remove the pork and squid from the marinade and set aside.
Mix the cornflour and the stock into the marinade. In a wok
heat the oils until they are hot but not smoking then add
the ginger and stir fry for 1 minute then add the pork and
squid stir fry for 4 minutes then add the spring onions and
cook for a further 2 minutes. Pour in the marinade mixture
and cook for 1 minute and serve at once. Garnish the Pork
And Squid Stir Fry with the spring onion julienne.

FRIED PORK AND SALAD RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Stir Fried Pork and Salad.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This
is one of the best salads I have ever eaten especially with
the stir fried pork with it the taste is absolutely exquisit.
All my family seem to arrive for dinner when they know I am
cooking the Stir Fried Pork and Salad so I always make sure
I have plenty cooked. It took me awhile to like pork again
as my father was a pig farmer and I just hated the smell but
one day mum made the Stir Fried Pork and Salad and I liked
it after that as this recipe just was so good to make and
eat.
Stir Fried Pork and Salad Ingredients
1 tsp
chili sauce
2 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs sesame oil
1 Tbs safflower oil
3 shallots thinly sliced
1 garlic clove crushed
1/8 tsp five spice powder
2.5cm fresh ginger root finely chopped
1 red pepper seeded, deribbed, cut into thin strips
500g pork fillet trimmed of fat and cut into thin strips
Lettuce and Bean Sprout Salad:
125g bean sprouts
4 spring onions sliced diagonally
1/2 small lettuce washed and dried
6 curly endive leaves washed and dried
1 bunch watercress washed, stems trimmed
4 chinese cabbage leaves washed, dried and shredded
Stir Fried
Pork and Salad Method
In a large bowl mix the sesame
oil with the garlic, ginger, chili sauce, soy sause, shallots
and five spice powder and then add the pork strips and mix
well then cover and marinate for 15 minutes. Meanwhile prepare
the salad by arranging the lettuce, curly endive leaves and
watercress sprigs in a border around a serving dish. Mix the
shredded chinese cabbage with the spring onions and bean sprouts
and then place the mixture in the centre of the dish. In a
large heavy frying pan heat the safflower oil then add the
pork and its marinade then cook on fairly high heat for about
4 minutes stirring all the time then add the red pepper strips
and cook a further 2 minutes again stirring all the time.
Arrange the hot pork mixture over the prepared salad and serve
the Stir Fried Pork and Salad immediately.
