HONEY
GLAZED PRAWNS RECIPE
This recipe

We used to live near the coast and we had seafood every week.
The prawning boats use to come in and we would get fresh prawns
straight off the boats and mum use to make up prawns all different
ways. There was curried prawns, battered prawns, sweet and
sour prawns there was so many different ways mum cooked them
but my favourite was the Honey Glazed Prawns the taste was
just so exceptional.

Glazed Prawns Ingredients
2 Tbs oil
1/3 cup honey
2 Tbs dry sherry
2 Tbs hoisin sauce
2 Tbs light soy sauce
1 clove garlic crushed
2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1kg uncooked king prawns shelled

Glazed Prawns Method
Take the king prawns and devein
them making sure to leave the tails intact. In a large shallow
dish combine the honey, sauces, sherry, garlic and ginger
and mix well then add the prawns and mix them in the mixture
really well then cover them and refrigerate overnight. Heat
a microwave browning dish and place oil on it and then add
the drained prawns in a single layer, turn to quickly seal
the other side then cook on high for 3 minutes turning once
during cooking.

ROLLS WITH DILL MAYONNAISE RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Fish Rolls with Dill Mayonnaise.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make.
I like to use the whiting fillets for this recipe. The flavours
of the prawns, parsley, lemon juice, dry white wine and fish
fillets makes these fish rolls taste really good but then
you add the dill mayonnaise and you have a really exceptional
taste to the Fish Rolls with Dill Mayonnaise.
Fish Rolls with Dill Mayonnaise
Ingredients
30g butter
1 Tbs lemon juice
8 small whiting fillets
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup extra lemon juice
2 Tbs chopped fresh parsley
8 uncooked king prawns shelled
Dill Mayonnaise:
2 tsp lemon juice
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp chopped fresh dill
1/3 cup thickened cream

Rolls with Dill Mayonnaise Method
Devein the prawns then combine
the breadcrumbs, parsley and lemon juice and spread the mixture
over one side of each fillet evenly. Take a prawn and lay
it on the fillet then roll it up and secure it with a toothpick.
In a large shallow microwave dish place the fish rolls in
a single layer then add combined wine with extra lemon juice
and dot the rolls with butter then cover and cook on high
for about 8 minutes or until fish is tender. Remove the toothpicks
and serve the hot Fish Rolls with Dill Mayonnaise. To make
the mayonnaise just combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
