HERB
AND PRAWN TROUT RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Herb and Prawn Trout. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. There
are so many seafood recipes you can do so there is no reason
to get bored with seafood. You can just about cook any of
the seafood recipes in the microwave and the fish cooks so
tender and the flavours really stay in. We had the pleasure
of going fishing and we caught our own trout for me to make
the Herb and Prawn Trout. There is a wonderful aroma fills
our place when I am cooking this dish as the smell of the
herbs is just so exceptional that my neighbors have even commented
on the smell being so great coming from our house and I just
say it is my Herb and Prawn Trout.
Herb and
Prawn Trout Ingredients
60g butter
4 whole trout
90g butter extra
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg lightly beaten
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1 tsp chopped fresh dill
1/2 cup lemon juice extra
1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
1 tsp chopped fresh chives
2 tsp chopped fresh parsley
250g uncooked prawns shelled, chopped
Herb and
Prawn Trout Method
Put the butter in a bowl and
microwave on high 1 minute then stir in breadcrumbs, prawns,
lemon rind, lemon juice, herbs and egg. Spoon seasoning into
the cavity of each trout. Cook 2 trout at a time in a single
layer in a large shallow microwave dish. Place the trout in
the dish and add half the extra lemon juice and 30g of the
extra butter then cover and cook on high for 3 minutes then
turn the trout over and cook another 3 minutes then let it
stand for 5 minutes after removing from microwave. Cook the
other 2 trout the same. Carefully remove the skin from the
trout and place the trout on serving plates. Whisk half the
remaining butter into the liquid in the dish then serve the
lemon butter over the Herb and Prawn Trout.

MARINARA RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Seafood Marinara. It is
a quick and easy recipe to make.
This is one of my son in laws favourite meal he always comes
for dinner if he knows I am cooking the Seafood Marinara.
I usually use whiting fillets in this recipe but you can use
any white fish you prefer and I usually cook up the fettucine
while I am cooking the Seafood Marinara. This meal always
taste so good with the prawns, fish, onion, garlic, tomatoes,
wine, tomato paste scallops, parsley and basil just makes
me feel hungry thinking about it.
Seafood Marinara Ingredients
30g butter
250g scallops
1/4 cup water
2 Tbs cornflour
2 white fish fillets
2 Tbs water extra
425g can tomatoes
1 Tbs tomato paste
1 clove garlic crushed
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 medium onion chopped
1 Tbs chopped fresh basil
1 Tbs chopped fresh parsley
250g uncooked king prawns, shelled

Marinara Method
Devein the prawns then cut
the fish and prawns into bite size pieces. In a large shallow
microwave dish combine butter, onion and garlic then cover
and cook on high for 3 minutes. Then add undrained crushed
tomatoes, wine, water and tomato paste then cover and cook
on high for 10 minutes. Stir in blended cornflour and extra
water then cook on high for about 1 minute or until mixture
boils and thickens. Mix prawns, scallops and fish in a shallow
dish then cook on high for about 3 minutes or until seafood
is just tender making sure to stir several times during cooking
then drain. Stir the seafood into the hot tomato sauce with
herbs. Serve the Seafood Marinara with hot fettucini.
