RICE
AND CHEESE ROLLS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Rice and Cheese Rolls. It is a
quick and easy recipe to make. This rice recipe is great to
make up when you are having a party. The flavours of the rice,
cheese, parsley and mustard powder then rolled in breadcrumbs
and fried gives these a sensational taste. My grandaughter
had her graduation party and I made a large bowl full of the
Rice and Cheese Rolls and there was not one left when the
party finnished.
Rice and
Cheese Rolls Ingredients
1 egg
2 Tbs plain flour
3 oz grated cheese
pinch mustard powder
1 Tbs chopped parsley
breadcrumbs for coating
3 oz long grain rice cooked
Rice and
Cheese Rolls Method
In a large bowl mix the rice,
1/2 the beaten egg, cheese, parsley and mustard powder together
then add a little flour if necessary to stiffen the mixture
and beat well until evenly blended. Divide into small portions
then shape into rolls and dust liberally with flour. Coat
in remaing egg and toss in dry breadcrumbs. Fry in oil for
2 to 3 minutes turning over. Serve the Rice and Cheese Rolls
very hot on a serving plate.
