CHICKEN AND RICE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Savoury Chicken and Rice. It is

Chicken and Rice Ingredients
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup baby cut carrots
1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
4.1oz package long grain and wild rice mix with chicken and
herbs

Chicken and Rice Method
Remove fat from chicken and
then cut chicken into 1 inch pieces. Spray 10 inch nonstick
skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Cook
chicken in skillet about 5 minutes stirring occasionally until
no longer pink in center. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat
to boiling then reduce heat to low. Cover the Savoury Chicken
and Rice and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover
and simmer about 3 minutes longer stirring occasionally until
carrots are tender and liquid is absorbed.

VEGETABLE
PAELLA RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Vegetable Paella. It is
a quick and easy recipe to make. This
is a wonderful feast of rice to make and anyone who likes
rice will like the Vegetable Paella. The great combination
of onion, red capsicum, green capsicum, garlic, rice, tomatoes,
peas, chick peas and parsley are what makes the Vegetable
Paella taste really exceptional.
Vegetable Paella Ingredients
1 Tbs
paprika
1 Tbs olive oil
1 red capsicum
1 onion chopped
1 green capsicum
10 strands saffron
2 cups arborio rice
2 tsp garlic minced
2 Tbs parsley chopped
lemon wedges to serve
6 cups vegetable stock
1 cup frozen peas thawed
400g can chopped tomatoes
300g can chick peas rinsed and drained

Paella Method
In
a large saucepan combine the stock and saffron and bring to
the boil then reduce the heat and simmer covered until required.
In a wok heat the oil and add the onion, capsicums and garlic
then cook until soft then stir in the rice and cook for 2
minutes or until translucent. Add the paprika and tomato and
stir well then pour in the simmering saffron stock and stir.
Bring the rice mixture to a boil then lower the heat and tightly
cover and simmer for 25 minutes then add the peas and chickpeas
then cook for 5 minutes more or until all the stock is absorbed.
Stir well and add parsley. Serve the Vegetable Paella with
lemon wedges.
