RUMAKI
RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Rumaki. It is a quick and easy
recipe to make. Rumaki
recipe is a wonderful appetizer to serve at any party. Especially
if you are having a night of asian style recipes. The flavours
of the bacon, livers, water chestnuts, soy sauce, ginger and
chinese five spice makes the taste really exceptional. Anything
wrapped in bacon tastes good even liver just try it.

Ingredients
12 bacon strips
1 lb chicken livers
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp chinese five spice
8 oz water chestnuts drained

Method
Cut the chicken livers in half
or into large chunks. Cut the largest chestnuts in half then
cut the bacon strips in half crosswise. Wrap a piece of bacon
around pieces of liver and chestnuts securing the ends with
a toothpick and place them in a shallow pie plate as you make
them. Combine the soy sauce with spices and pour over the
Rumaki and refrigerate for about 1/2 hour before grilling.
Preheat the grill and grill the Rumaki until the bacon is
crisp about 20 minutes turning to brown on all sides. Serve
hot on a bed of lettuce.
