SPAGHETTI
WITH HAM AND MUSHROOMS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Spaghetti with Ham and Mushrooms.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make. My family are real
pasta lovers and this recipe is one of there favourites. The
flavours of the spaghetti, ham, mushrooms, tomato paste, onion
and herbs makes the taste really sensational. My grandchildren
always likes spaghetti as they like to try and twirl it around
there forks then eat it. We have a lot of fun on our spaghetti
night.
Spaghetti
with Ham and Mushrooms Ingredients
1 onion
6 oz ham
1 oz butter
1/2 pint water
10 oz spaghetti
salt and pepper
2 Tbs plain flour
4 oz mushrooms
1/4 tsp dried herbs
1/2 x 5 oz can tomato paste
Spaghetti
with Ham and Mushrooms Method
In a large saucepan of hot salted
water cook the spaghetti for 10 minutes or until soft then
drain and keep hot. In a large frying pan melt the butter
then peel and finely chop the onion and fry until transparent
then add flour and mix well and cook for 2 minutes and remove
pan from heat and gradually add the water. Return the pan
to the heat and add tomato paste and herbs then bring to the
boil stirring all the time until thickened. Chop ham roughly
and add to the sauce then slice mushrooms and add to sauce
and season to taste. Gently cook for 6 minutes. Put the spaghetti
in a large serving dish and pour the sauce over it and toss.
Serve the Spaghetti with Ham and Mushrooms very hot.
